Seasonal Sustainability Reporting Specialist
Job Summary
To support sustainability initiatives, the part-time Seasonal Sustainability Reporting Specialist will manage the preparation and submission of utility benchmarking reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations while working remotely from the Eastern Time Zone for a 7-month period from December 2026 through June 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and submission of benchmarking reports by extracting and organizing data from utilities and internal systems
- Oversee compliance reporting and ensure timely submittals to relevant authorities, meeting regulatory deadlines
- Develop knowledge of North American utility benchmarking laws and stay updated on changes to reporting frameworks
Required qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a reporting or data management role
- Experience with ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager or similar data/analytics platforms
- Interest in energy efficiency, real estate, or sustainability sectors
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new software applications
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
