Job Summary
To support the upcoming tax season, the seasonal, remote Seasonal Tax Lead (EA, CPA) will provide leadership to a remote team, monitor tax support communications, and address operational and customer issues while ensuring a positive experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership through various communication channels, motivating team members to meet performance goals
- Monitor the Tax Support Slack channel, delivering accurate tax guidance and timely responses to support requests
- Address operational and customer issues, ensuring professional resolution of inquiries and escalations
Required qualifications
- Active U.S.-based credentialed professional (Enrolled Agent, CPA, or practicing attorney) with an active PTIN
- At least 1 year of experience in a remote supervisory role managing teams of 5 or more
- 2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax software
- Technically proficient in navigating multiple systems, including professional tax software and Microsoft 365
- Equipped with a dedicated workspace, personal computer, and a hard-wired Ethernet connection
