Job Summary
To support the upcoming tax season, the seasonal remote Seasonal Tax Lead (EA, CPA) will provide leadership to a team of tax professionals, monitor tax support channels, and address operational issues while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership through video, phone, and chat to motivate team members and meet performance goals
- Monitor the Tax Support Slack channel, delivering accurate tax guidance and timely responses to support requests
- Address operational and customer issues, ensuring professional and timely resolution of inquiries and escalations
Required qualifications
- Active U.S.-based credentialed professional (Enrolled Agent, CPA, or practicing attorney) with an active PTIN
- At least 1 year of experience in a remote supervisory role managing teams of 5 or more
- 2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax preparation software
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and tax software, with the ability to navigate multiple systems effectively
- Access to a dedicated workspace, personal computer, and a hard-wired Ethernet connection
