Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the seasonal Remote Tax Preparer with PTIN will guide customers through their tax returns, assist with diverse tax scenarios, and manage administrative responsibilities while working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Guide customers through their tax returns in real-time, ensuring accurate filings
• Support customers via chat, video, screen share, and phone throughout the tax preparation process
• Manage administrative tasks such as training and timekeeping while meeting performance expectations

Required qualifications

• 2+ seasons of professional tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 returns prepared each season
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) by the start date
• Ability to work in a high-volume customer-facing environment
• Experience translating complex tax concepts into clear guidance for clients
• Designated distraction-free remote work environment with reliable internet connection
