Seasonal Virtual Patient Advocate

Job Summary

Providing empathetic support to patients, the full-time Seasonal Virtual Patient Advocate will assist with non-clinical inquiries, manage administrative tasks in the Electronic Medical Record system, and navigate complex patient situations remotely over a 6-month contract.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-touch support to patients, addressing non-clinical questions and facilitating their care experience
• Assist providers with administrative tasks, including managing patient messages and resolving issues efficiently
• Collaborate with clinical, pharmacy, and insurance teams to investigate patient situations and communicate clear next steps

Required qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a patient-facing administrative, healthcare, customer service, or operations role
• Demonstrated proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and diverse technological tools
• Experience with health insurance plans, benefits verification, and/or prior authorizations preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Availability to work a holiday rotation and flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
