Job Summary
Supporting a critical Government Identity, Credential, and Access Management initiative, the full-time remote Secret Clearance Middleware Engineer will design, develop, and deploy custom middleware solutions and integration tools to enable legacy applications to integrate with modern identity systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom middleware solutions and integration components to facilitate legacy application authentication through the ICAM technical stack
- Engineer custom connectors and APIs that connect non-standard applications to identity platforms like Okta and SailPoint, while analyzing integration requirements
- Collaborate with migration engineers and application owners to assess integration needs and deliver production-ready middleware capabilities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of software or systems engineering experience, with at least 3 years in middleware development or enterprise application integration
- Experience designing and developing custom integration solutions, including REST APIs and SOAP web services
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to meet DoD cybersecurity training requirements
- Demonstrated experience integrating applications with enterprise identity platforms using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, or SCIM
