Job Summary
To support the DLA Disposition Integration Web Program Office, the full-time Secret Cleared Systems Administrator will ensure stable operation of computer software systems and network connections, focusing on installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of network software and application environments, while working remotely within the Reston, VA area.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee system and network software installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization
- Implement load balancing and fault tolerance, while managing vulnerability and security patching
- Automate administrative tasks and develop system administrator procedures using scripting tools
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an information technology-related field with 10 years of relevant experience
- Active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship
- 10 years of specialized IT experience, with hands-on experience in software installation and configuration
- DoD 8570/8140 IA certification and operating system certifications relevant to administered systems
- Expertise in systems administration across multiple platforms, including Windows Server and Linux
