Security Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting enterprise security operations in a full-time remote capacity, the entry-level Security Analyst will manage threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management activities while gaining hands-on experience in cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities

• Review security dashboards, alerts, and system logs to identify potential security events
• Perform initial triage of security alerts and escalate high-priority incidents as needed
• Document investigations and remediation activities within established ticketing systems

Required qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, threat detection, and security monitoring
• Ability to investigate anomalies and analyze technical information
