Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Analyst who will plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security protocols for the protection of computer networks and information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with users to identify security threats, recommend programming or process changes, and discuss computer data access needs
• Use security tools and applications to protect transfers of confidential digital information
• Develop and implement plans to safeguard digital data, review security violations, and provide training to prevent future violations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Programming, or a related field preferred
• At least three years of experience in computer systems with specialization in computer security highly preferred
• Proficiency in a broad array of security software applications and tools
• Thorough understanding of computer-related security systems including firewalls, encryption, and password protection
• Experience with platforms such as Carbon Black, Red Canary, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, and KnowBe4 preferred
