Security Analyst II

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Security Analyst II will monitor, investigate, and respond to security events across customer environments while collaborating with internal teams to enhance security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events across the security platform and customer environments
• Analyze and respond to security events to drive effective customer outcomes
• Investigate suspicious activities across various environments and escalate high-risk incidents as necessary

Required qualifications

• Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), or Managed Detection & Response (MDR) environment
• Familiarity with SIEM and log-management platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response technologies like CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender
• Knowledge of cloud environments, including AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in scripting or development with languages such as Python or PowerShell
