Security and IT Manager

Job Summary

Owning Allium's security program and employee IT environment, the full-time Head of Security & IT will manage the security roadmap, implement controls, and partner with Engineering and business teams to protect critical systems and data, while also addressing the challenges posed by AI and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the security roadmap by assessing risks and implementing controls with clear ownership
• Establish security standards for AI agents and partner with Engineering to evaluate related tools and integrations
• Lead detection, response, and recovery efforts across cloud, identity, and employee systems

Required qualifications

• Typically 6+ years of relevant security engineering or corporate security experience
• Hands-on experience implementing controls in cloud-based environments
• Depth in areas such as identity, cloud security, and detection and response
• Experience building or improving a security program in a growing technology company
• Practical judgment regarding AI-enabled tools and their operational controls
