Security and IT Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the day-to-day security compliance and corporate IT operations, the full-time remote Security and IT Operations Engineer will manage SOC 2 controls, consolidate compliance programs, and oversee corporate IT systems while collaborating with auditors and team members to enhance security measures.

Key responsibilities

• Run day-to-day compliance, including SOC 2 controls, evidence collection, and policy acknowledgments
• Consolidate compliance programs by selecting a GRC platform and adapting control descriptions
• Manage corporate IT operations, including Google Workspace, onboarding/offboarding, and Mac fleet management

Required qualifications

• Experience in managing SOC 2 activities and working with external auditors
• Proficient in administering corporate IT systems and managing account access and security
• Ability to automate tasks using scripts, APIs, or workflow tools
• Strong project management skills, with experience driving cross-team collaboration
• Hands-on IT support experience, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
