Security Architect
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, the fully remote Security Architect will lead security architecture reviews, define security requirements, and provide expert guidance on Microsoft Azure architecture while influencing technology decisions during a major transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead security architecture reviews for cloud, hybrid, application, AI, and infrastructure initiatives
- Define security requirements and recommend practical controls that align with business objectives
- Evaluate cloud security posture and translate findings into actionable recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or a related field
- At least 5 years of hands-on security engineering experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security architecture or comparable architecture-focused roles
- Deep experience securing Microsoft Azure environments, including governance and workload protection
- Experience with cloud security posture management or similar platforms
