Security Architect

Job Summary

To support the growth of cloud services, the full-time remote Security Architect will define secure configurations across AWS and Azure, ensure compliance with security standards, and review architecture designs for security impact before deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain secure configuration standards for AWS and Azure, covering various security aspects
• Review cloud architecture and infrastructure changes for security implications and ensure compliance with established standards
• Translate security requirements into actionable technical design and configuration guidance for IT Operations

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, systems engineering, or security engineering
• At least three years in architecture or a role focused on technical design and standards
• Deep knowledge of AWS or Azure security configuration and familiarity with the other platform
• Experience with infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform
• Practical application of hardened configuration baselines using DISA STIGs or CIS Benchmarks
