Security Architect Consultant

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the part-time Security Architect Consultant will design, implement, and optimize data models and security platforms while working remotely with occasional onsite tasks in South Carolina.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Cribl data models and log ingestion pipelines
• Assist with the planning, design, and operational support of enterprise security platforms
• Develop and implement security countermeasures to address known and emerging threats

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience supporting large IT environments and/or system deployments
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cribl data modeling and log pipeline design/implementation
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and security engineering principles
• Experience developing security automation and integrations using Python and/or Bash
