Security Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
Strengthening security assurance capabilities, the full-time remote Security Assurance Engineer will focus on technical analysis, automation, and the application of security and compliance frameworks to enhance the efficiency and reliability of security assurance processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and improve automated security assurance workflows to reduce manual effort and increase consistency
- Streamline the collection and analysis of security evidence to improve audit readiness and control visibility
- Enhance the accuracy of access reviews, control testing, and risk assessments through technical automation
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or technical compliance
- Hands-on experience developing scripts and automations using Python or a comparable programming language
- Experience working with APIs, JSON, Git, and structured datasets
- Working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001
