Security Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a federal customer, the remote Security Automation Engineer will engineer automated security controls, integrate security scanning tools, and develop workflows to ensure continuous security in the DevSecOps environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Integrate and operate security scanning tools and automate security findings into approved workflows
- Develop security gates, dashboards, and exception-handling workflows within customer-approved platforms
- Collaborate with developers to remediate security findings and maintain security automation documentation
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience with application security and DevSecOps security tooling
- Experience in scripting or developing integrations for security automation
- Working knowledge of secure software development and cloud/security control frameworks
- Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust; active Secret clearance preferred
