Security Compliance Lead

Job Summary

Providing senior technical and programmatic leadership, the remote Safeguards Security & Compliance Lead will manage IRS Publication 1075 and Federal Tax Information security and compliance activities, coordinating a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective risk management and compliance reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and quality control of the FSA Safeguards program, including the development of key documentation and reports
• Translate IRS Publication 1075 and related security requirements into actionable controls and guidance for stakeholders
• Coordinate compliance activities among various stakeholders to maintain consistent execution and documentation of Safeguards

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Over 10 years of experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or security compliance
• Senior industry certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
• Expert knowledge of Federal security requirements and risk management processes
• Experience with IRS Publication 1075/FTI security requirements or similar regulated-data security environments
