Security Compliance SME with Secret Clearance

Job Summary

Serving as the primary authority on cybersecurity policy, the remote Security Compliance SME with Secret Clearance will provide expertise in advancing Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities for the Department of the Air Force, ensuring compliance with DoD and Federal security mandates across three concurrent System Enhancement Studies.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure alignment of study outputs with applicable DoD, DAF, and Federal cybersecurity mandates throughout the study period
• Review and interpret regulatory references and provide security and compliance guidance to study lead engineers
• Contribute compliance and security policy sections to Technical Study Reports and advise on emerging cybersecurity policy developments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security compliance in Defense or Federal government IT environments
• Demonstrated experience with DoD and Federal cybersecurity policy frameworks, including NIST standards and DoDI regulations
• Experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) processes for Defense information systems
• Active Secret security clearance (final adjudication required prior to assignment)
