Security Cooperation Financial Specialist

Job Summary

To support government financial management needs, the remote Security Cooperation Financial Specialist will manage accounting processes, assist with data analysis, and ensure compliance with financial regulations while holding a Secret security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in recording commitments and obligations in the accounting system according to DOD and CCMD regulations
• Gather and analyze financial data to prepare midyear and program review documents within established deadlines
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process maps to enhance financial operations and compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Financial Management business operations
• Active Secret Level Clearance as per government requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
