Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a dynamic management consulting firm, the full-time Security Engineer will design, manage, and implement security infrastructure while providing technical support for hardware and software elements in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement changes to address moderately complex security issues and assist with vulnerability assessments
• Maintain compliance with federal security regulations and collaborate with operations teams for server hardening and access control
• Monitor network security systems for anomalies, conduct threat hunting, and participate in incident response activities

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Network, Application, and Information Security
• Strong understanding of NIST 800-53 security controls and O365 Suite Security
• Proficiency in Network/Firewall management and basic Windows/Linux administration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements
