Security Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a fast-growing MDR team, the full-time Security Engineer will focus on proactive security reviews, advanced customer guidance, and incident management while working remotely in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in fine-tuning detection and response mechanisms for cloud security
• Conduct in-depth security investigations and document outcomes to enhance future detection and response
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve detection quality and provide actionable recommendations to customers

Required qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience in cybersecurity, preferably from a leading cloud security company
• Strong working knowledge of detection engineering, incident response, and threat analysis
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and scripting (Python/Bash)
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Security is an advantage
