Security Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic security team, the full-time Security Engineer will write production code, build security tooling, and enhance security measures across infrastructure and applications in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement security solutions, including writing reusable security libraries and middleware
• Conduct security reviews on engineering design documents and own security domains end to end
• Collaborate on incident response procedures and contribute to the rollout of security programs like DLP and bug bounty initiatives

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Go programming language and experience with Kubernetes and AWS environments
• Hands-on experience in security engineering, including detection engineering and application security
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 1, SOC 2, and OCC
• Ability to write production-level code and contribute to security tooling
• Experience in developing and tuning security detections and controls
