Security Engineer

Job Summary

Embracing an AI-first culture, the full-time salaried Security Engineer will manage various aspects of the security program, including corporate IT, identity, AI Security, and cloud, while collaborating closely with backend, firmware, and data engineers as well as clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace and manage the SaaS access lifecycle, ensuring compliance and audit readiness
• Implement vulnerability and endpoint management for the corporate fleet while automating evidence collection and extending Vanta with custom tests
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop secure solutions and act as the security team's point of contact for incident response and security reviews

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security and/or IT engineering, preferably on a small team
• Proficiency in operating a SIEM (e.g., Datadog Cloud SIEM, Panther, Splunk, or Elastic)
• Fluency in corporate IT, including Google Workspace administration and identity lifecycle management
• Strong scripting skills in Python or similar languages
• Ability to produce clear security documentation for various stakeholders, including engineers and auditors
