Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing platform, the full-time remote Security Engineer will design and implement security controls, build automation tools, and conduct vulnerability management to enhance system security while enabling engineering teams to ship faster.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across multiple environments, including firewalls and IAM
• Build security automation and tooling using Python, Go, and Bash, managing infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Conduct vulnerability management and collaborate with engineering teams to identify and mitigate security risks

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, DevOps, network engineering, or software development related to security
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience with Terraform
• Experience writing scripts in Python, Go, or Bash for security automation
• Working knowledge of core security disciplines including IAM, PKI, and threat modeling frameworks
• Experience in containerized environments using Docker or Kubernetes
