Security Engineer

Job Summary

Providing security guidance for new products and technologies, the full-time Security Engineer will analyze internet threats, drive internal security initiatives, and conduct security assessments, with the flexibility to work remotely or from various locations across the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Provide security guidance on a constant stream of new products and technologies
• Take a leadership role in driving internal security and privacy initiatives
• Analyze, assess, and respond to various internet threats

Required qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in security engineering, including vulnerability research and penetration testing
• 3-5+ years programming experience with languages such as Python, PHP, or Ruby
• 4+ years of experience reviewing C and C++ with knowledge of secure code development practices
• Working knowledge of security architecture principles and risk mitigation in internet-facing products
