Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Security Engineer will manage infrastructure, applications, and internal systems by triaging alerts, closing security gaps, and automating repetitive tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Triage alerts and suspicious activity, documenting findings and escalating when necessary
• Collaborate with engineering and IT to resolve vulnerabilities and tighten configurations across various platforms
• Maintain security tooling through integrations, upgrades, and alert tuning while scripting to automate tasks

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in security, IT, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering
• Working knowledge of networking, operating systems, authentication, and common vulnerability classes
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proficiency in writing and debugging scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience using AI tools for technical problem-solving and verifying outputs
