Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Security Engineer, this role focuses on source code analysis and offensive product security research, where the engineer will partner with teams to enhance security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineers to integrate security expertise into design, implementation, and release processes
• Build security-focused features and implement fixes addressing root causes of vulnerabilities
• Conduct offensive research and validate vulnerabilities while assessing findings based on exploitability and impact

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in finding and exploiting application vulnerabilities through source code analysis
• Ability to navigate complex codebases and understand runtime behavior
• Experience with application security challenges such as authentication and data handling
• Strong software engineering skills, with a focus on implementing durable security fixes
• Curiosity and ownership in pursuing difficult questions and collaborating with engineers
