Security Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and maintaining security platforms, the fully remote Security Engineer will manage the technical quality and operational health of security tooling, collaborating with SOC analysts and clients to enhance detection coverage and automate processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain security technologies including EDR/MDR, SIEM, and vulnerability management
• Monitor platform health and service availability, investigating gaps and driving issues to resolution
• Build and maintain SIEM detections and automation workflows to improve alert fidelity and reduce analyst workload

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of networks, workstations, and server technologies with a focus on security concepts
• Experience in providing advanced technical support for security tools and integration issues
• Ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams on implementation plans and technical outcomes
• Proven self-driven problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn
• Experience in participating in implementation reviews and service-improvement initiatives
