Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the security program end-to-end, the full-time remote Security Engineer will manage CorpSec, SecOps, and compliance responsibilities while building out practices across CloudSec and AppSec in a fast-growing startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own detection, response, and prevention in a Mac-first environment, refining the SentinelOne stack and incident response playbooks
• Drive the SOC 2/Vanta program and manage the audit cycle as the primary technical owner
• Oversee identity and access management using Okta and Google Workspace, ensuring least-privilege enforcement

Required Qualifications

• 4-6 years of security engineering experience, preferably in a startup or small company
• Experience in a Mac-first environment with ownership of Mac fleet security and Apple-native tooling
• Depth in CorpSec and SecOps, including detection engineering and incident response
• Experience managing or contributing to a SOC 2 audit cycle
• Familiarity with tools such as Datadog, SentinelOne, Okta, Google Workspace, and Vanta
