Security Engineer

Job Summary

Building and running a vulnerability management and security operations program, the full-time Security Engineer will select and deploy scanning tools, manage vulnerability triage and remediation, and automate security operations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Select, deploy, and operationalize scanning tooling across production assets
• Run vulnerability management end to end, including triage, severity assessment, owner assignment, and reporting
• Build automation and remediation workflows that integrate with existing engineering processes

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering, security operations, or software engineering with a focus on security
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management programs or software security tooling
• Strong scripting and automation skills in languages such as Go or Python
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Ability to assess the severity of findings using CVSS and communicate their business impact
