Job Summary
Focused on enhancing security measures, the full-time remote Security Engineer will design, build, and operate technical controls to protect systems, applications, and data in AWS environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain security controls across AWS accounts, including identity management, logging, and network security
- Develop and improve Infrastructure as Code for security controls and cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure patterns for engineering teams
- Operate and enhance the SIEM, including log source onboarding, detection content, and alert tuning aligned with business risks
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, cloud engineering, or related technical roles
- Proficient in securing AWS environments and understanding core AWS security services
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code to manage cloud infrastructure and security controls
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, including log analysis and detection engineering
- Familiarity with identity security controls such as SSO, MFA, and access governance
