Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security measures, the full-time remote Security Engineer will build and operate controls to protect infrastructure, applications, and AI systems, while investigating threats and automating security processes.

Key responsibilities

• Secure cloud infrastructure by implementing access controls, improving configurations, and managing credential storage
• Build detection and response mechanisms to identify and investigate security incidents across systems
• Automate security tasks and maintain employee security through endpoint protections and compliance measures

Required qualifications

• Typically 4+ years of relevant experience in security, infrastructure, or software engineering
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform and a strong foundation in identity and access control
• Depth in areas such as cloud security, detection and response, or application security
• Experience in investigating technical problems and resolving issues through logs and system behavior
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and business teams
