Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Security Engineer on the Detection & Response team will build and refine detection capabilities, manage incident response activities, and implement automation and AI solutions to enhance security measures across production and corporate environments.
Key responsibilities
- Build and refine detections, logging, and telemetry for real-time visibility into security threats
- Run incident response activities and continuously improve processes and documentation
- Implement automation and AI solutions for security tooling while maintaining sound judgment on their application
Required qualifications
- 1-2+ years of dedicated experience in security response and automation or a related engineering background
- 4-5+ years in DevOps, IT, software engineering, or similar roles with security responsibilities
- Experience with SIEM/observability platforms in cloud or distributed environments
- Strong ability to work autonomously in an asynchronous environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
