Job Summary
Joining a fast-growing team, the full-time remote Security Engineer will focus on proactive reviews and advanced customer guidance while independently managing AUS hours coverage and conducting in-depth security investigations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in fine-tuning detection and response mechanisms for cloud security
- Support proactive reviews of customer environments to identify risks and recommend improvements
- Lead security investigations, documenting outcomes and developing playbooks for enhanced detection and response
Required qualifications
- Solid hands-on experience in cybersecurity, preferably in cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of detection engineering, incident response, and threat analysis
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals and scripting (Python/Bash)
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Security is an advantage
