Job Summary
Building and managing a comprehensive vulnerability management program, the full-time remote Security Engineer will deploy scanning tools, oversee remediation workflows, and automate security operations to enhance the company's security posture.
Key responsibilities
- Select, deploy, and operationalize scanning tooling across production assets
- Run vulnerability management end to end, including triage, severity assessment, and reporting
- Build automation to streamline security operations and support compliance requirements
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, security operations, or software engineering with a focus on security
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management programs or security tooling (SCA, container, cloud, or host scanning)
- Strong scripting and automation skills in languages such as Go or Python
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
- Ability to assess and communicate the severity of security findings in a business context
