Job Summary
To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Security Engineer will deploy tools, configure controls, and harden infrastructure while directly collaborating with leadership to establish pragmatic security practices in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and implement security monitoring solutions, including SIEM deployment or SOC management
- Scan and harden AWS security posture, manage Cloudflare configurations, and implement IaC security scanning
- Integrate security tools into developer workflows and participate in security design reviews and vulnerability assessments
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on security engineering experience, preferably in a software or cloud-native environment
- Demonstrable experience implementing security tools and controls
- Solid knowledge of AWS security services and Cloudflare management
- Experience deploying and managing endpoint protection in mixed environments
- Familiarity with software supply chain security concepts and CI/CD integration
