Security Engineer, GPU Driver

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Security Engineer, GPU Kernel Driver will manage the security vulnerability backlog for kernel and firmware components, lead security scanning and remediation efforts, and communicate security risks to stakeholders, all while working remotely or onsite in Santa Clara.

Key responsibilities

• Own the security vulnerability backlog, driving timely triage, remediation, and SLA compliance
• Lead continuous security pipeline scanning, triage, root-cause analysis, and validation across software and firmware components
• Partner with engineering and security teams to define and execute long-term security strategy and product hardening efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant industry software engineering experience
• Experience with security analysis of complex systems
• Strong technical background with excellent C programming and low-level driver experience
• Knowledge of operating systems and computer architecture fundamentals
