Security Engineer I

Job Summary

Focused on maintaining and enhancing cyber security infrastructure, the full-time remote Security Engineer I will administer security services, perform security tests and audits, and investigate security violations to protect the organization from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer cyber security services across various platforms including laptops, servers, and cloud environments
• Conduct security tests and audits, analyze results, and collaborate with SOC analysts to improve cybersecurity posture
• Investigate security violations and implement corrective actions based on predefined criteria

Required Qualifications

• 2 or more years of applicable experience in cyber security or a related field
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and incident response
• Proficiency in using SIEM for triaging incidents
• Understanding of network protocols and security concepts
