Security Engineer II
Job Summary
Focusing on enabling Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solutions, the full-time remote Security Engineer II will lead client-facing SIEM and XDR technical enablement projects, including the deployment of Microsoft Security and Azure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Microsoft Sentinel and Defender implementations for customers, overseeing design, architecture, deployment, and use case tuning
- Create and develop new detection, automation, and reporting use cases based on customer requirements
- Lead XDR integration activities across Microsoft and Azure product stacks, applying Zero Trust Architecture principles
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical experience with Microsoft Cloud Security technologies or equivalent SIEM and XDR solutions
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing Microsoft Sentinel and Defender security products
- Strong experience with Azure Cloud technologies
- Experience with query languages and/or script development (KQL, SPL, SQL, PowerShell, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience and certifications
