Job Summary
Focused on designing and implementing security solutions, the full-time Security Engineer II will manage email and network security, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and support firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/protection systems
- Analyze network traffic and investigate security alerts in collaboration with managed defense partners
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing to mitigate vulnerabilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure security and networking
- GSEC certification preferred; Microsoft certifications such as AZ-500 and/or SC-900 desired
- Experience with Okta and Auth0 authentication systems is a plus
