Security Engineer, Network Security

Job Summary

To support enterprise security initiatives, the full-time Security Engineer, Network Security will define and maintain security standards, assess security requirements, and collaborate with client stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise security standards and configuration baselines for network security technologies
• Work with client stakeholders to assess security requirements and guide security architecture decisions
• Investigate complex network security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts with client engineering teams

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of IT or cybersecurity experience, with at least 3 years in network or infrastructure security roles
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall technologies such as Palo Alto or Fortinet
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and VPN technologies
• Practical experience with Windows and Linux server hardening and security controls
• Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
