Security Engineer - Network Security

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Security Engineer - Network Security, the full-time remote position will manage network security controls, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement security measures across various environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of network security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and secure connectivity
• Manage and optimize firewall rulesets and troubleshoot network and firewall issues across various environments
• Support the design and implementation of secure network architectures and assist with security incident investigations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, network infrastructure, or enterprise IT operations
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and firewall administration
• Experience with cloud networking and security, preferably within Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as SOC 2, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001
