Security Engineer, Red Team

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing security measures, the full-time remote Security Engineer, Red Team will plan and execute red team operations across various environments, build AI-assisted testing tools, and collaborate with teams to strengthen security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run authorized red team operations across cloud, networks, and applications under defined engagement rules
• Build and maintain AI-assisted testing harnesses for vulnerability research and exploit validation
• Collaborate with Blue Team on purple team exercises to improve detection and incident response capabilities

Required qualifications

• 3+ years in offensive security, red teaming, or penetration testing with real engagements in production environments
• Strong programming skills in Python, capable of writing custom tools
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered workflows or agents
• Deep knowledge of cloud security, IAM abuse, and web/API exploitation
• Understanding of AI-specific risks such as prompt injection and data leakage
