Security Engineer, Risk Management

Job Summary

Owning and operationalizing a third-party risk management and business continuity program, the full-time Security Engineer, Risk Management will build data pipelines, automate governance processes, and collaborate across teams to enhance security and compliance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and operationalize the third-party risk management and business continuity program
• Define technical approaches for ambiguous, cross-team problem spaces and frame problems effectively
• Build and operate pipelines that aggregate and normalize risk, control, and asset signals from various systems

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in backend, platform, data, or software engineering
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Kotlin, Java, or Go
• Experience with third-party risk management and business continuity
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and integration patterns like REST APIs and webhooks
• Ability to define technical direction in ambiguous situations and carry it across team boundaries
