Security Engineer, Risk Management

Job Summary

Owning and operationalizing a third-party risk management and business continuity program, the full-time Security Engineer, Risk Management will define technical approaches, build data pipelines, and automate compliance processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operationalize and manage the third-party risk management and business continuity program
• Build and operate data pipelines that aggregate and normalize risk and control signals across various systems
• Automate evidence collection and continuous control monitoring to enhance compliance efficiency

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in backend, platform, data, or software engineering
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Kotlin, Java, or Go
• Experience with third-party risk management and business continuity
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and integration patterns like REST APIs and webhooks
• Demonstrated ability to define technical direction in ambiguous problem spaces
