Security Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading security initiatives in a remote full-time capacity, the Security Engineering Director will manage product security, cloud and infrastructure security, and AI security, while setting security architecture standards and overseeing vulnerability management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee product security processes, including threat modeling, design reviews, and vulnerability management
• Lead cloud and infrastructure security efforts, ensuring compliance with IAM policies and WAF standards
• Establish security standards for AI features and manage associated risks and governance

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in security engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• Experience leading product security and cloud security teams in cloud environments
• Knowledge of AI security risks and relevant frameworks, such as OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications
• Proven ability to influence senior engineering leaders on design and risk trade-offs
• Background in SaaS, particularly with regulated data management
