Job Summary

Leading a high-performing security team, the full-time remote Security Engineering Manager will oversee compliance engineering, manage security across AWS infrastructure, and actively contribute to security projects while mentoring engineers in a dynamic healthcare technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow a security team, setting quality expectations and hiring as needed
• Oversee compliance engineering to meet SOC, HIPAA, and HITRUST requirements
• Continuously assess vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in security roles, with at least 3+ years in management
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC, HIPAA, and HITRUST
• Hands-on experience in application security and endpoint security
• Proven ability to manage a remote-first team and foster collaboration
• Exceptional written communication skills for conveying complex technical information
