Security Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Security Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will manage and develop a threat investigations team, focusing on identifying and responding to complex adversarial threats to enhance user safety across Meta's platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and guidance to team members while ensuring timely delivery of projects
• Influence organizational vision and strategy, engaging the team to develop specific roadmaps
• Track operational metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges related to threat actors

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security, investigations, or related technical fields, including hands-on management
• 4+ years of experience in people management and organizational leadership
• Experience working cross-functionally with various teams, including security engineers and product management
• Proficiency in a functional or scripting language (JavaScript, PHP, Python, etc.)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Management, or equivalent technical security experience
