Security-Focused Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing primarily on security remediation, the full-time remote Security-Focused Software Engineer will own the end-to-end remediation of vulnerabilities, collaborate with engineering teams to translate security findings into requirements, and contribute to application development across Ruby on Rails and React.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end remediation of vulnerabilities identified through penetration testing and security assessments
• Analyze session traffic to identify excessive information exposure and translate findings into design requirements
• Contribute to application development while applying security insights to avoid reintroducing vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with full-stack work across multiple applications
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and React
• 5+ years of experience in a security engineering or closely related role
• AWS Security certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty)
• Familiarity with FedRAMP and its vocabulary
